‘Ian set up Guernsey Mobility in 2017 and set customer service as his top-most objective. He is so kind and caring which is so appreciated by those with additional mobility needs. He has a “You have changed my life” sign written on the showroom wall as this is the most repeated phrase by his customers. He is a gem and deserves his success,’ said one of their three nominators, who wishes to remain anonymous.
‘He saw a gap that wasn’t being filled. I think he’s invaluable to the disabled community. His clients become his friends and it’s lovely to see,’ they continued.
‘They have helped me out on several occasions, fixing up my mum with wheelies and wheelchairs, doing home visits. There’s never anything that’s too much trouble, even fixing her old one as a spare. No hard selling either, always smiling,’ said another nominator, Marion Le Friec.
‘They always greet you with a smile – Ian, Sue and Ethan. Nothing is too much trouble and will order anything to accommodate,’ said Lynn Breban, their third nominator.
