Pride of Guernsey: Beau Sejour front desk staff

THE STAFF who handle the front desk at Beau Sejour Leisure Centre have been nominated for the Alexander Daniels-sponsored Pride of Guernsey Customer Service of the Year Award.

For their service to customers that goes above and beyond the expected for an organisation of that size and always greeting those visiting with a friendly manner, the staff have found themselves up for the award.

Nominated by Georgina Wills, she said: ‘They have a very pleasant approach to all who need to consult the desk.

‘The team are always ready to help with any problems you may have and, most importantly, they never fail to welcome you with a smile.’

Beau Sejour Leisure Centre is Guernsey’s only community-based leisure centre and offers facilities and services for sports and leisure pursuits.

Built in 1976, following a States directive to provide an affordable leisure facility it was upgraded between 2001 and 2003 and has modern equipment which caters for many, allowing access for everybody regardless of age, gender or ability.

There is an annual footfall in the region of 600,000, ranging from the very young to more-senior citizens.
