Angel of the Year: Dr Caroline Yates

‘SIMPLY the best’ is how the nominator of Dr Caroline Yates describes her.

Dr Yates has been put forward for the Ravenscroft-backed Angel of the Year award.

Dr Yates, who is based at the Queen’s Road practice, has been ‘incredibly caring and supportive to me, particularly over the last year,’ said her nominator.

‘I couldn’t ask for a better doctor. She takes time to listen and is reassuring and understanding.’

The nominator said they started seeing Dr Yates about six years ago: ‘My old GP retired and I thought I would never find one as dedicated as she was and I have through Caroline,’ they said. ‘She is a marvellous lady whom I have recommended to many friends who now see her as well.

‘I have been through a lot over the last few years, both personally and health-wise, and Caroline is and has been taking excellent care of me. She supports and most importantly respects decisions.

‘She has guided me through some good and bad times of late and she has supported me through a very difficult time in my life.

‘She deserves to win as she is simply the best. I do not know what I would have done without her.’
