Customer Service: James Speers

A hotel manager who draws customers back ‘time and time again’ has been nominated for the Pride of Guernsey Customer Service award, sponsored by Cherry Godfrey.

JAMES SPEERS, general manager of Le Friquet Hotel, has been a friendly face at the hotel for all its customers.

A frequent guest, Marion Willis, from Bournemouth, was determined that Mr Speers received recognition for his work. 

‘He adds a personal, family, and friendly feeling to the hotel.’

‘It draws us back, time and time again.’ 

Mrs Willis remembered when they visited on her birthday and Mr Speers gave her a present.

‘It is the little things like that that really do make a difference for a guest.

‘He is fantastic at remembering details, like which football and rugby teams we support.

‘He is a lovely person to come back to.’
