Customer Service of the Year: Jean Harvey and Lindsay De Carteret

DESCRIBED as a ‘charming delight’, Jean Harvey and Lindsay De Carteret have both been nominated for the Cherry Godfrey-sponsored Customer Service of the Year award.

For several years, their nominator Linda Laine has been making cosy fleecy blankets for animal charities, for which she requires large rolls of fleece material. Purchasing these each year from the Creaseys haberdashery department has introduced her to staff Jean and Lindsay.

Linda highly commended the service and attitudes of both Jean and Lindsay. She said that they have helped her to obtain the products she has needed on multiple occasions, as well as arranging deliveries.

‘Without fail, Jean and Lindsay, whom I usually deal with, are both pleasant, caring and just a charming delight to me. They are very empathetic and cannot do enough to just be as lovely as possible.

‘Helping me, phoning me, organising delivery – they are always so genuinely nice, which is so rare these days.’

Linda wanted to take the opportunity to thank Jean and Lindsay for everything they have done to help her over the years so nominated them for this award.

‘They really do deserve the customer service award,’ she said.
