Grace Smith

Grace Smith has been nominated the Teacher of the Year award, sponsored by Core Fund Services.

‘Miss Grace Smith is such an amazing teacher, nothing is too much and she always goes the extra mile for her students,’ said her nominator, Sarah Pickard.

‘My son has been very lucky to have her as his teacher for the last couple of years. He has severe allergies that sometimes could stop him from being involved in certain activities at school – Miss Smith always comes up with an alternative for him and makes sure he participates and that he is included. 

‘She makes the school a better place. She brings out the best of her students of all abilities, she’s a true inspiration to them all and deserves the recognition.’

Grace has been teaching for two years at Notre Dame du Rosaire Primary School.

‘I feel extremely grateful to be nominated,’ she said.

‘I am very thankful to all the staff here at Notre Dame who have supported me on my teaching journey.’
