Senior carers (North Team)

The senior carers (North Team) has been nominated for the Carer of the Year award, sponsored by Specsavers.

‘North Team senior carers allow Mum to stay in her own home with their care and support. 

‘Mum looks forward to seeing the carers and they have a laugh together and a good chat,’ said a representative for the Le Friec family, which has been working with the team for more than a year.

‘They tell her their news. We are so grateful for their help too. Mum says they are kind and helpful. 

'Mum loves to live at home and enjoys it when the carers come in to see her with their news. 

‘They come morning and night. They’re really essential to making sure my mum lives at home. 

'They’re always kind and warm and welcoming. It’s important that my mum is happy. They’re incredibly valuable to our lives,' they said.

‘As a family we can’t thank them enough.'
