Kate Kellaway has been nominated for the Teacher of the Year award

‘KATE has been nothing but encouraging and has given me the confidence to believe in myself again,’ said Kate Kellaway’s nominator, Esmee Byrne. 

‘I have received unconditional support for two years to achieve my dreams’.

Kate Kellaway has been teaching performing arts at the College of Further Education since 2008 and she loves to watch students grow and develop. She hopes with each of her students that she has been able to play a small part in their future careers. 

‘Kate has been one of the main reasons I am on the path to making my dreams a reality because she has helped me and others in my class to get into our dream drama universities,’ said Esmee. 

Kate said that she was honoured that one of her students thought to nominate her for the teacher of the year award.
