FOR nearly a decade, Guernsey Mobility Let’s Go has allowed people of any age or ability to take part in activities such as discus, football, bowling or softball.
The group has become a lot more inclusive and cater for all levels of mobility since changing their name from Wheelchair Bouncers seven years ago – and sports and activity coach Paul Wheatley has been around since the very beginning.
Alongside Paul, sports and activity coach Sue Duport and a number of volunteers including Jo De Garis (pictured with Paul), have been making people’s weeks that bit better with their weekly events at Beau Sejour.
Mel Edwards nominated the three Guernsey Mobility volunteers as a way of thanking them for their assistance and support over the years.
‘Sue, Paul and Jo are three great volunteers for Guernsey Mobility Let’s Go,’ Mel said.
‘They will do anything to help us and we can’t ask for three better people.’
