Rita Kudrjavceva has been nominated for the Customer Service award

RITA KUDRJAVCEVA’S passion for providing beauty treatments began when she was working at a local restaurant and her colleagues asked her to paint their nails during her breaks.

Following this, Rita decided to make it her full-time job. She booked a course in Latvia for six months ahead of working in businesses back in Guernsey.

In May 2020, her efforts were rewarded as she teamed up with Phil Lukas to open the Hair and Beauty Lounge in St Peter Port.

‘She is so welcoming to all customers who walk through the door,’ said nominator Suzy Rocha. 

‘I always feel welcome from the moment myself and my daughter walk in, to the moment we leave.’

On the Hair and Beauty website, Rita is said to be a ‘perfectionist’ who offers a variety of treatments from nails to laser treatment and semi-permanent make-up.

‘She is always very patient and very professional at what she does – Rita is simply the best and I am forever thankful for all she has done for us.’
