Saumarez Park Cafe has been nominated for Customer Service of the Year

A core memory for many children across Guernsey from the bouncy castle in the back garden, to the flags lining the building’s roof, or the chalkboard room for creative minds to run riot, the Saumarez Park Cafe has provided exceptional customer service for years.

The tearooms are run by the Cacae family and are in a convenient place for families, placed within walking distance of the park itself – something the team’s nominator feels is really valuable.

The team, who works seven days a week and over 12 hours a day from 9am to 9pm to fuel their customers with Italian-inspired cuisine have been recognised with a Pride of Guernsey Customer Service of the Year award nomination for the Moonpig-sponsored category.

‘The staff are very friendly, the opening hours are great and the prices are reasonable,’ the nominator said, wishing to remain anonymous.

‘It is simply the best cafe in Guernsey.’
