The Glow Studio’s Charlotte Blainey often works with women who have anxiety or medical conditions.
Before every treatment, clients can choose how they would like to spend their time with her – be it a chat, a movie or just silence.
‘I try to create a unique experience for them which is totally judgement-free and relaxed,’ she said.
Charlotte and her nominator share the same condition – polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). Charlotte has been working with her to help her feel better about the things she can’t control.
‘I hope to work with more girls who suffer from similar conditions to remove any confidence issues with going to standard salons in the near future whilst offering them all a safe place and a friendly face,’ she said.
‘She has gone out of her way to adjust her services to accommodate me time and time again and continues to offer amazing service and a lovely calm space to get treatments,’ her nominator said.
‘Regardless of how much you’re spending, big or small, the service is always the same.
‘I would definitely describe myself as being insecure, so going for treatments has always felt so daunting to me, but from the second I walked into The Glow Studio, I felt like I could kick back, relax and not worry about anything at all.’
