Stores, cafes and businesses might have numerous customers a day, but Guernsey Post’s clientele is island wide.
Despite having to cater to the masses, the team’s customer service has been recognised as being unwaveringly positive and cheerful – from the delivery team who greets you at the door, to the Christmas team and customer service team, all performing their duties with a big smile on their faces, come rain or shine.
These are the thoughts of Guernsey Post’s Customer Service of the Year award nominator who said they are ‘always so friendly’.
‘I’d say I go to the post office once every fortnight, mostly to return clothes, but whether I am dealing with the people at the post office or seeing the team out on delivery walking the pavements or even when I open the door, they always have a smile on their faces,’ they said.
‘They are just so friendly and are always happy to help.’
In addition to their friendliness, the nominator wanted to highlight the whole team’s quick service and general work ethic.
